Platelet rich plasma is a promising therapy in dermatology and aesthetic medicine, it is mainly advocated for its potential wound healing and tissue regeneration.
Facial aesthetics in Undergraduate level is less exposed in practical aspect, so for the benefit of young Under-graduates, lectures and a live demonstration course on Facial aesthetics was organized by the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics , in collaboration with the Academic Forum of Sree Mookambika Institute of Dental Sciences.
The speaker of the day was Dr. Seema Alice Mathew MDS, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is a Chennai based Aesthetic Dentist and cosmetic surgeon, facial aesthetician and specialist in anti ageing medicine.
