Independence Day 2019

At Sree Mookambika Institute of Dental sciences, Kulasekharam we celebrated Independence day with great pride and enthusiasm.
The day began with our tricolor flag hoisted with great pomp and show. This event was presided by our respected Admistrative Officer, Mr.J.S.Prasad at the pre-clinical block at 8:30 am. This event was attended by students, house surgeons, teaching and non- teaching faculty, security personels .To commemorate the soverignity of our nation all in unison sang the national anthem gave the tricolor flag honor and ceremonial salutation which expressed their joy of our freedom . The national anthem echoed in the entire campus and filled everyone with pure patriotism.
The gamut of celebration and activities was held on the 5th floor auditorium of our dental block with lots of enthusiasm, thrill and vigor.
The cultural events started with a patriotic classical welcome dance by the Post graduates and the Interns. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of patriotic group songs in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi which made the audience groove to patriotic tunes. Cultural events such as traditional dance performances symbolising patriotism was organised. Undergraduate students, house surgeons, postgraduate students participated in the cultural events.
