Oral Hygiene Day 2019

Oral Hygiene Day is celebrated every year across our country on 1^st August to honour the doyen of Periodontics, Late Dr.G. B. Shanwalkar

Organizations such as The Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP), Indian Dental Association (IDA), Rotary club observe Oral Hygiene Day. The program is designed to enhance the awareness about oral hygiene among the general public and to decrease the incidence of oral diseases. The program also educates children, adults and elderly to follow simple oral care routine to enjoy “a happy and healthy mouth” in the years to come.
